Promoting Greece in New York

Greece travels to America and urges Americans to travel to Greece this summer. The country that gave birth to the fundamental principles underlying the creation of the U.S., presents itself at the travel fair organized by one of the world’s biggest newspapers, the New York Times.
“Greece that resists, Greece that insists,” according to the famous Greek singer Dionysis Savvopoulos.
Terra Communications, a company which has been extensively involved in promoting Greece abroad, is organizing the country’s participation in the New York Times Travel Show exhibition, to be held in New York from Friday, February 28 until Sunday, March 2, 2014. Greece will be in a prominent position in a special booth of 36 square meters. Twenty six years after the memorable EOT campaign created by the famous Greek-American advertiser George Lois “I’m going home… to Greece,” the country is once again actively courting tourists. This time Americans will be invited to visit “their home, Greece, where it all began.”
The New York Times Travel Show tourism exhibition has been held for 11 years in New York and is the largest in the U.S. Participation will open a new door to a very large market, which it is hoped will encourage Americans to trust Greece as a holiday destination. Key representatives of the international industry will be at the exhibition, looking for the next big thing in tourism.
